i'm surprised there hasn't really been anyone accusing us of just being haters or sour grapes or crap like that in this thread.

i guess we got to a point where we don't feel like we have to defend him anymore or make excuses.

florio turned into captain obvious and we can see clearly now.

Forget Ryan Clady owning him.

I remember last season when Jason Whitten took care of him with no help....a damn pass catching TE owned his ass that game.

Typical Peppers Season:

3-4 games where he looks unstoppable

6-7 games where he looks average

5-6 games where you wonder if he ever left the locker room

It appears Peppers obviously has a less than stellar reputation. Glad to see that Mike Florio is also speaking out. Yet another truthful report in regard to Peppers' lack of motivation and effort on the field. Peppers is incorrect again in his comments, we can say it is about a lack of production especially when he demands so much money to play NFL Football without any heart or consistent drive.

The report is also correct when it states that Peppers is not as good as he thinks he is. In addition, Peppers is not even on the same plane as Reggie White was. Reggie was a reliable and consistent professional football player. Reggie's team mates didn't have to be concerned about his effort or lack thereof. If only the Panthers could have had Reggie in his prime then, maybe these Peppers fans would realize the difference between an over-hyped athlete and a great football player.

For me it is cost versus production. He was the highest paid DE the past 2 years but wasn't the most productive. So he didn't live up to his salary or potential. So he largely underperformed and we didn't get our monies worth. That is why we let him go. I expect he will have a good year in Chicago this year. But I doubt he will be the most productive DE again although he will be the highest paid.

wow! what a suprise! a reporter writes a article that goes with the majority opinion here about peppers and the writer is the greatest evah and all his articles are the truth.
wow. what a surprise. you have come in here saying that we only like a reporter because he said something we like.

wait....

florio has been getting better the last couple years. i used to hate PFT because everything they put on that site was pulled from turds but florio has turned himself into a pretty reliable source. of course there are still things that he throws out there that is crap he's slinging at the wall hoping it sticks. he is just using a higher grade of crap now.

i've actually been saying that for a while now. for the past year i have been saying that he was more reliable than schefter.

i feel sooo...whelmed.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........
