Minnesota's Decker scores a 43 on the Wonderlic

Lombardi actually has him rated as the 4th best receiver in the draft pool right now, over and above guys like Tate, Briscoe and Gilyard. He considers him to be ideal as a number two rather than a number one though. In my opinion, intelligence is an underrated trait in receivers, though it's not the only thing Decker offers.

If we still wanted Smith to be the number one, he's an intriguing prospect. Could be a Patrick Jeffers / Brian Finneran type of guy. Of course, if the team gives Smith his wish and decides to go for a new number one, not sure he's the guy I'd want.

Decker would be an ideal Red Zone type player. Bigger than corners, faster than safeties, almost like a WR/TE hybrid.

Wow, thats a good score, of course Tate had a pretty good number also. Would be nice to have a guy that knew the playbook from early on.
