They have interviewed The Golden Calf of Bristol. It's been reported.

In the past, they also interviewed LenDale White and took Darnell Bing out to dinner. Honestly, the only guy I can think of off the top of my head that we "heavily scouted" and actually wound up taking was Eric Shelton.

where?

CHARLOTTE -- In a clear sign the Carolina Panthers are in the market for a quarterback this off-season, the team reportedly had a sitdown meeting with former University of Florida quarterback The Golden Calf of Bristol this week at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., according to the Orlando Sentinel.

that is the only interview I'm aware of, and it was at the senior bowl where we probably interviewed almost every player there.

Radio, TV and I think Gantt have said we looked pretty thoroughly at him.

Google it more if you want but honestly, I wouldn't bother with sourcing it because I'm just not that worried about it.

Regardless of how much we might have "looked at him", I don't think we'll draft him. I've seen way too many guys the Panthers were supposedly "really interested in" wind up in other uniforms to take reports like this seriously.

For what it's worth, they've also looked heavily at Armanti Edwards, per reports. Could be something, could be nothing.

Again, I can't stress this enough that WR may not be the 1st choice despite what the fans want... It comes down to what Fox and Hurney thinks is best for the team and I just don't want fans to be upset if we don't choose a WR with a 2nd round pick

We'll freak out no matter what. Now that TE shouldn't be a need at all, this is probably the year they draft one in the second.
