I was thinking about buying the Carolina Panthers Blue and Gray for my home office. How did the blue cover? How many coats of paint?

I really like the way the walls look! We are going to make our downstairs den into a Panthers den and it's nice to see how yours turned out. I was thinking solid blue would be too much blue.

Actually no -- Go to Lowes and just ask for the Panthers Gray, Black & Blue. It's stored on their mixing computer. $23/gal & $11/qt

(and just for reference - I used the new Lowes on Speedway/Bruton Smith Blvd by Concord Mills Mall)

I started with a white wall and it took two coats (no primer). They coated very well, I thought - I only bought a Gallon of Blue & Black and a quart of the silver and I had a ton of paint left over. A matter of fact, I used the black on another painting project.

The blue comes out very nice -- I was worried about that but I could see myself actually having a room that color now (even if I wasn't a fan).

I know when we were thinking of a design - we were having a hard time thinking colors were too bold (or dark) so we was thinking of a feather dusting faux finish but I had a hard time thinking that it would fit the "bar" mindset I was wanting, LOL!
