i didnt find it funny, just the message. i've amazed at the hippies cannt figure out how to stop. panic sets in and they are lost. maybe its just cause i've had similar crazy stuff happen to me behind the wheel and got thought it. first thing i thought of is "neutral".

That's probably easier said than done on an empty back country road. Try doing that in traffic approaching an intersection and see how effective it is.

Hahaha! That's EXACTLY what I said when my mom told me about it after it happened to the first few people. I drive a Ford Focus, and I have actually had my steering wheel seize up while I was going 50 down a curving hill, luckily I was able to quickly brake. If you don't panic you should be able to get through something like that.

It's not something that would save you in any situation, but if you have the room to slow down I don't see how you wouldn't know to just pop it in neutral.
