Because during the offseason, the Carolina Panthers forum is open to ALL NFL news because

A) There is nothing interesting going on with the Panthers

and

B) Most Panther fans were wondering if Quinn was going to be traded to the Panthers

So yes, in a way, it had something to relate to the Panthers.

we would never trade for him and there was a specific spot for "NFL footbal" so anybody else that has news on the Lions, Browns, Bears, ect... please post it there

and again, the Carolina Panthers forum is open to all NFL NEWS during the offseason.

and furthermore, nobody said they would've trade for him but it did cross a lot people's minds...

Also, you don't know for a fact who the Panthers would trade for, or draft, or sign so how could you possibly determine that the Panthers wouldn't make that move?
