While you do have a Lombardi now, it took you 42 years to get 1.

Considering you were in this league for 28 years longer than the panthers and until this season we have had more success I will take our chances of winning one within 42 years. I mean hell, we have 27 more years until we are at that level of mediocrity.

I'm not saying you are correct, im not saying you are wrong. The fact remains that the NFL is a very competitive league. If you think you can stay on top for 10 years then good for you but it is very unlikely that will happen. Do I expect you to be competitive for the next couple/few years? Yes I do.

Agreed 100%. I was just wondering what his basis was for suggesting the Saints are going to fall off. The future looks very bright at the moment, especially considering we have lost almost no one from last year.

A lot of people would probably say the one with the super bowl championship but I'm not too sure. 10 years of misery is a lot to endure.

well, we are one of the youngest teams in the NFL, the only other teams that had a better start are the phins and the Cowboys

expansion in the 90s is a LOT more favorable then expansion in 1967. Half of our roster could barely walk then or were raging alcoholics.
