Memorable kills in BFBC II

Did any of you play the campaign before jumping into the multiplayer?

I always get a feel for the game with solo play before I try the online stuff...

I did.

Not a bad little campaign either. It's rather short, I think I did it in one sitting TBH.

You will learn how to drive most of the vehicles and get a feel for the different weapons.

Add my gamertag "Kurb" when you get a chance.

There is nothing more satisfying than stealing the other teams chopper on Attacama Desert....if you get both of them in the air, you will pretty much win the match....

I sucked at flying the first couple of times but have gotten much better....

Just make sure you have an engineer as your co-pilot.

Hey Kurb, we were owning in the tank last night. Those were some good games we had.

The other team was legit too.

I did get a good laugh out of stealing the oppostitions tank on the desert map(with the bridge...forget name). I didn't think I was going to make it, but I have learned if you get the Abrams on the bridge alllllll the way back to the edge of the map you can rain hellfire down on the snipers across the map. The road ramps down a bit so you can get a great angle, and few people can actually hit you that far away.

Couldn't believe we lost that MCom with them having 4 lives left.:banghead:

Ended that game 28-13 I think, maybe my best round so far. You guys attract harder teams for some reason

Will do.

I played the campaign last night for an hour or so. Got to the part with the UAV but got killed a few times. I need more practice, and I'm still used to the MW2 controls.

This will give you more trouble than anything. I can NOT play one then put the other on and have any level of success.

(not that I ever had success at MW2 but I digress)

Cuz I'm a hot mess

Of incompeteness

B/c of all the stress

But I must confess

This post be da besstttttttttt:nopity:

Last night was the first night I really appreciated how much you need a good team to win. I was on an epic losing streak last night, I think my team won one match by the skin of our teeth, and the rest of the time were blown out. And I was doing atypically bad, playing pretty much the same way I normally do (only thing new was suicidally charging through open streets to revive teammates).

But I was sub 500 every round, and chalked up a bunch of losses, then I realized what it was. My squad was all over the map, like polar corners of the map, and every time I tried to respawn on a teammate, they were running wildly through the middle of the goddam road! I'd spawn and surprise, surprise, I'd get lit up by a machine gun moments later.

The round we won, my squad and I were all sticking together. Holding this one point in conquest. Had an engineer on tank detail, a gamer girl as assault class (who was remarkably good) passing out ammo, and me as medic hanging back, laying down cover fire and reviving anyone who got knocked out. We held is for at least 5 minutes without so much as a single death counted against us.

Everyone says it, but it's true. You MUST practice good team work to win.

It really is amazing. I played with a couple of my friends, and the first few times they played as a team. We communicated, and we won...big. But recently they think that they are the only reason we ever won, so they go do their own thing. They get a decent amount of points, but we usually lose. I'm kind of done with them. I play to win the game!

    • Super raw, not sure he is worth a top 10 pick.  Primary a pass rusher.  A bit like Burns, very fast athletic but doesnt always follow the play.  His highlights look good but when you watch him play you can see he is just raw and needs to develop
    • Personally, I am not sold on Bryce yet--and I do not think anyone is saying they are, but I don't think Ward is on table when we draft anyway.  Not even sure if I would rather have him than one of the later QBs.  I see a lot of potential in Allar, Nussmeire, Rourke, and even Hamilton from Ohio State--Milroe is intriguing, but I am not sure he is an NFL QB.  Ewers is that sleeper who falls and becomes a solid starter. I think that we sign a veteran who has played and we draft one of these project QBs. To your point:  With that in mind, I think you have to take QB off the table in round 1, and if Bryce can string 4-5 games like KC together, we still need to draft a QB in round three or so---I really think Rourke is a great fit for this offense--he is accurate and gets the ball out quickly---he impressed me vs OSU.   Reason?  I think we may have a tough decision to make about Bryce in 2 years--will he be worth $60m?  That decision is a lot easier if you have been grooming a backup for 2 years who can play. In round 1: I am hoping for PSU's edge Abdul Carter In round 2:  I would like to see us grab a DT who can rush the passer.  Walter Nolen of Ole Miss is versatile and a bit raw. I think he could be an excellent complement to Brown. In round 3:  I would love ILB Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma.  He is a beast. With 11 picks, I would package our 4th rounders to move up into the third round and take a QB.  At the moment, I think Rourke is trending upward and he has the skills Canales seems to want in a QB.  Quick processor, quick release. I would use the fifth rounders on OL.  I know that I left out WR--however, we are getting Thielen back, XL will be improved, Coker will be improved, and Moore has been surprisingly good.  Sanders (TE) has been more than expected in the passing game.  I think we need D more than WR, and maybe we can get a veteran WR to sign or find a hidden gem late.
    • Wouldn't be surprised if he starts a couple Jets games this year with the way the Rodgers thing is going. Giants fans are pissed they didn't keep him lol. He might actually have a little bit of a market.
