Hell I spot people even without the sniper class. It depends on how far they are off and if they've seen me first...but I'm constantly spotting for my team regardless of what class I play.

BTW...I had a really shitty team mate today. I was laying mines and the dipshit jumps off of his ATV and blows the mines up...which kills me. Some of these people are really,really stupid.

I've never been a big fan of shooter games, but I picked this up a few days ago and love it. Last night I was playing on a conquest map(I think) and decided to try out the UAV. Flew it around a bit and figured I was just going to get myself killed. Sure enough as soon as I exited the screen there was a guy in my face ready to knife me, but I knifed him in the face.

I only play hardcore, so marking is useless..

Do you find that there are a lot of noobs on hardcore? I've heard the lack of a minimap and tagging means there are a lot of noobs camping and farming kills because they know they won't be found.

And Torso hit sniper kills.. I just find hardcore good for getting the medals for weapons.
