He needed to challenge more. He was sliding back because he was worried about the 2v1. If he had been at the top of the crease solid instead of drifting back it would have bounced harmlessly off his pad. 

Not saying that’s all his fault cause that was a give away. But he really needed to stay at the top of the paint there and trust Slavin.

The nhl has the worst refs in sports. At some point, the players need to start shooting pucks at refs.

He was already in the forward hitting motion before the puck/while the puck was being dropped. There is no way in hell that was a penalty. If the refs don’t give us a gimme to start the period and make it 4v4 imma be pissed.
