Hey, y'all were all excited when CatMan posted the pics from the meet and greet at the beginning of the offseason. "You're so lucky" "I want to go" etc. Several of us signed up in the days that followed.

To a post by dimbee, yeah 38 bucks sure isn't pocket change for me. That's a lot of nickels and quarters, that must weigh a good 5 pounds.

Hey, sh*t, I'll shamelessly plug their site as well.

During the season members were sent signed game-worn gear (if they won a yardage guess poll), they had that end-of-the-season party for free, doubletrouble called a bunch of people to thank them for signing up, they called people to see if they were coming to the party, they chat online all the time (assuming it's them), they post short blurbs about things etc.

For a displaced Panther fan living in CA for the past year, I've enjoyed the site a lot. Williams and Stewart seem to be cool, down to earth guys.

Give them sh*t, and the members sh*t all you want for paying $34 to join a website, but $34 doesn't really buy me much more Panthers information anywhere else when you're as obsessive about the team as I am. I read the huddle a lot as well, but it's about 95% typical internet forum garbage, 5% actually interesting reads (4% of which is SLJ haha).

The issue was not talking about the site. It was advertising the sire in his signature. there is a forum rule about that.

No but seriously, if they do all that just for signing up and paying 34 bucks, that's actually well worth it.

Having said that, the way CatMan went about plugging the site was inappropriate and obviously for his own personal gain, rather than spreading awareness about their site.
