Delhomme will visit Clevland

Who knows where Jake might end up if anywhere. But with Holmgren there things will get better. They also won their last 4 games including a beating of Pittsburgh. I would be surprised if they are contenders in the next few years. Somehow I don't see Jake in the West Coast Offense so i don't see that as a fit. I guess they are doing their due diligence.

Those Browns fans are stupid. Multiple Browns fans said Kyle Orton took the Bears to the Superbowl...last time I checked Rex Grossman was the starting QB for the Bears Superbowl run.

Anyways, Delhomme could still win a couple games. He might just completely implode, again, but he might also stabilize the QB position in Cleveland until they develop someone. Hope he signs somewhere he has a chance to be a starter. All the best, Jake.

Jake could be like Peete was for us here. Fill in until they find a younger QB. But have to agree with Panthers55 dont see Jake suceeding in the WC offense. If Cleveland can get McNabb that would be better for them.

Didn't Jake play in a WCO at New Orleans? I'm not saying he will succeed if he ends up in Cleveland, but I don't think the WCO will be the reason if he doesn't succeed either.

No, that wasn't a WCO.

Jake's never played in it, but the offense is built around short, safe passes and timing patterns. Depending on how you run it, the QB doesn't necessarily have to do as much reading of defenses as he would in a conventional offense. It's the receivers that do the bulk of the work in this scheme.

So, conceivably, it could be good for him.
