New info on possible d-will trade

One time against Green Bay in 2008 and one time in 2009 versus the Giants.

He carried the workload pretty well in Deangelo's absence, wouldn't you agree? And that was with an sore ach. tendon.

But if I were forced to choose, I'd choose Deangelo.

He pulled up lame with a hammy, he wasnt winded.

Now that I think about it, I'm afraid to trade D.Will for a first and get a receiver. Not just because its risky, but because I'm not confident in Fox/Hurney decision at that position

Oh and J.Stew didn't get winded last year against NYG, he was playing hurt the whole time and still ran for 200 yards

Its pretty obvious he knew he had open field to run and he was trying to run out the clock, but for some reason people try to morph this into evidence of poor conditioning, which is laughable.

Idk about that, but atleast we agree on the main point that he wasn't winded

That was my point. People always point to those two runs as evidence when talking about J Stews lack of practice reps and conditioning. But I say, look how he handles the workload of a game. Pretty damn effectively if you ask me.

As to the trade, I can't see it.

The Chargers can't actually trade Sproles without signing him. They can only trade his rights. Given that they tendered him at a compensation level that would require a first and third in return, it's pretty hard to imagine them giving up both Sproles and a first rounder, getting back only Williams in return.

I don't see why the heck you guys think that'd be a good trade (let's be frank, this trade isn't gonna happen). 28th overall? Screw that. If it means D Will goes bye bye, I'd want a top 20. He is definitely top 20 value. Forget Sproles. We can find better talent elsewhere. Why is everyone so high on Sproles? At best he has proven himself as an elite punt/kick returner and nothing more.
