OK... since this is the defacto American Idol thread...

WTF were those performances by the "stars" last night? Who is that Ke$ha chick? Damn, she's horrible. That's not even music.

I told my wife...

"Damn, music is in a seriously sad state of affairs right now. They should vote her off and keep the other two girls..."

Yeah, that Ke$ha chick is horrible, and so were the guys with her... and so was their "performance"...

Seriously... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry or what... I just kind of stared at it like looking at a train wreck.

I just looked up some of Ke$ha's stuff online and listened to it... that Tik Tok song has a catchy beat in places, but mostly her stuff is just stupid, bad white girl rap... I guess she's a Lady Gaga impersonator... bad impersonating bad = worse.

:lol: you remind me of my dad when he was saying the same thing when I was listening to Pearl Jam, Guns and Roses, Metallica, etc.... He used that exact phrase "that's not even music".

I actually liked the song Tik Tok the first 1,000 times I heard it. I think it is one of the most downloaded songs of all time (I shamefuly contributed to that).

Times have changes, and so has the music.

I hear you and I realize that I'm getting old... but I have a pretty open mind about music... and I like lots of different kinds... rap, metal, classical, country, techno, etc.

Tik Tok has a decent beat, but that sh*t last night just flat out sucked.

mine did also, because I lived in the basement and if he didn't like it he would stomp on the ground.......said any music that made him stomp to tell me to turn it down would be considered boom boom music
