Seattle wants McNabb

Actually, I think it's that Roethlisberger has $#@& for brains and thinks the rules don't apply to him.

Steelers aren't in the habit of trading high picks for established starters. With Ben's issues I expect they'll either sign vet insurance from the pool of available guys or just stick with Dennis Dixon.

Jeremy Bates once worked under Gruden. Wonder if he's planning a West Coast type offense in Seattle. If so, going for McNabb would be wise.

Could be a real minefield for Philly, honestly.

Suppose you trade Kolb (not likely) and he becomes the next big thing while McNabb starts showing his age?

On the flipside, suppose you trade McNabb and then Kol suddenly turns out not to be as good as you thought he was?

Pitfalls either way, but it's pretty rare for a team to trade away their QB of the future. McNabb/Kolb could be this year's Favre/Rogers.

As to the comments on Vick, ouch. Even the Rams don't want him?

Yep....that is the dieimma the front office faces....that is why the most likely scenerio (safest) is that McNabb and Kolb are both Eagles this year and McNabb plays out his contract. The Kolb era begins after that. But if the right offer for McNabb comes along, how do you turn that down? If they traded Kolb, that would surprise me but not out of the question I suppose.

And Vick.... I believe they picked up his option so if no one is wanting him I guess what Sal is saying makes sense. Hold on to him until someone comes calling. Wonder how Vick would take that if he was still an Eagle in a backup roll come opening day?

Interesting scenario to say the least.

Because Vick was one of the most promising QB prospects of all time and showed he has still an amazing arm and quick release.

Coaches will always convince themselves that THEY can be the ones to turn him around.

Hence why David Carr still continues to be employed.
