CBA, Jerry Richardson and released players

With all said- there are only a few team who are spending big(ravens- bears)

But if you want ANY idea look at the redskins..

They have a HISTORY of spending HUGE EVERY offseason and they have hardly spent a dime.

The writing is on the wall. The owners are sending a messege to the players Union and a few teams owners know this and are going to try everything they can to win a Super Bowl when they know they can exploit it.

You hit the nail on the head.

Jerry started off selling burgers in a wagon or something...

The dude is self made thats for sure.

But as with all "old" people- they are stuck in their ways..

Now if that is GOOD or BAD for us-- we will see.

I honestly think Richardson is willing to throw this season away to prove a point to the PU and get a new CBA.

He is a business man...

I think he has had this plan in place since last off season when he was one of the front runners for the early opt out for the CBA...

Just sayin...

I have not decided whether we are throwing away the 2010 season or not. I still fully believe that we are a vet DE (not a star, just a Brayton type of vet) and a WR away from being a playoff team.

Anderson/Conner are not a dropoff

I still believe that Leonard, Tyler, and Irvin will perform jsut as well as Kemo and Lewis did

Hoover is a question mark

I will finally make up my mind after the draft and the rest of FA. If we don't add a WR and DE in FA (going in with what we have plus another rookie), then I will lean towards JR being willing to struggle in 2010 to set the team up for long term success.
