After doing a little math, the age of the carolina panthers roster, minus K and P is:

mean - 24.566

with a standard deviation of 1.84

n=53 (-2 k,p)

min-21

q1 - 23

med- 24

q3 - 25.5

max - 30

pretty impressive youth movement

I'm assuming that is this moment in time. Run the numbers again at training camp. It would be good to see it stay close.

K and P our serious outliers. actually anything over 28.246 (More than 2 standard deviations away from the mean) are outliers. Even steve smith and jordan gross are outliers and statistically should not be counted towards the mean.

and for further statistical analysis, we only currently have 42 players that I consider capable of making the team... 12 that I would consider camp fodder/practice squad material... and 1 RFA that I think someone will sign to an offer sheet that we won't match (R. Marshall)
