That whole "you're not a good QB" joke caught on the game highlights last year doesn't appear to be such a joke. I don't blame Smitty considering how much Jake was struggling, but it is definitely disappointing to hear him act that way when they seemed so close before.

Like he said last season during the first game..

"I like you as a person, just not as a quarterback"

You 2 are taking his comment seriously. I seen the video when he said that, but he was just teasing Jake to cheer him up. He wasn't really serious, 'cause he isn't that kind of a guy. Plus, he was patting Jake on the back after that lines. If he really mean it, I bet Jake wouldn't want Smitty to pat him. Smitty is known to make jokes that some might think he is serious.

Smith had ZERO to do with Jake going. Next question.

Yep. Can we move on please & talk about something else? Smitty has nothing to do with Jake being released.
