kasay is money. no way he's gone. have you guys thought that maybe they let rhys go because of a money thing? and maybe they'll sign him back after the draft perhaps? either way, they'll have someone else doing kickoffs, and they'll keep both of their kickers, cause neither kasay or baker deserve the boot... not yet anyway.

just think... If Kasay would have made that 45 yrd FG against the Giants in 08 we would have the #1 seed and the last 18 months could have been a lot different.

Or maybe if he wouldnt have kicked it out of bounds in the SB (way to choke BTW) things would be different.

Kasay (like Hoover) has not been as good in the last 2 years as much as fans would like to think...

Yea, because Delhomme would have thrown the ball much better against Philly than he did against Arizona. As he proved in week one of this season.

New England moved the ball with ease. We were doomed when we scored to quickly and New England got the ball back 1:08 left. Its doubtful the 15 addititional yards that New England got on the out of bounds kick made a bit of difference in the outcome.

How good do you think fans think he has been? He has been one of the most accurate kickers in the league, top 10 by the stats. In the last two years, he has made 16 of 18 field goals from 40-49 yards. Thats pretty damned accurate.

That of course doesn't mean its not time to replace him. Could very well be if we can find an accurate fg kicker.
