Could we deactivate M. Jones?

Go find a video game to play somewhere please.....and you got about one more "dumb"....and I am coming with guns a blazing......jackass.

I never said I was in favor of this strategy but it was just an idea that I had that I wanted to share and get your guys opinion. You attacked me by saying it was dumb so I came back to more arguments to which you have not replied directly except to say I should go play videogames (very original btw). I see where you and everybody else is coming from and it makes sense, but I also think my idea makes sense and is very plausible. Mark Jones has not hurt us this year (except for one play where the ball bounced of his leg) and has done a lot of good but he is not a playmaker the way Steve and Stewart are. He has had many chances this year to break a long run and has been tackled by a kicker/punter. Now don't get me wrong, it's a great thing that it has come to the point where the punter/kicker were forced to tackle him but there is no way in hell that either Stewart or Smitty would be tackled by them. That's points on the board that we could of had. Also for everybody that thinks we couldn't fall behind to the point where we would have to throw and would need 4 WRs, it is very possible next week. We saw last week that a good passing offense can put 21 points on us in a quarter. Next week we have probably the best passing offense coming into our house so it could happen. But I really hope it doesn't. Again this thread was to start a discussion about a possible strategy that we could try. I wanted to get everybodies opinion on this and 9lives you started this whole "dumb" talk so if you can't talk like an adult don't bother replying.

WRONGGGGGGGGGGG..............

I called you a nimrod, and a jackass. :D

Still no reason to though, it isn't a dumb idea, just because you don't agree with it doesn't make it dumb.

I bet you the coaches have thought of something similar if not the same thing.

My fault, I don't know how I didn't realize earlier that your this boards resident simpleton. You talk a lot but don't really say anything important. When confronted with a good argument you call a person a jackass or just ignore it because don't really have anything smart to say. Lesson learned, you will be ignored from now on.

I didn't say it was dumb.....I said it was an ignorant idea, get your facts straight, and GTF over it already!

Dang people just looking for a fight aren't you.....I said my peace...leave it at that, and quit egging sh*t on.

Thanks....and I gave you more than a few good reasons....suck it.

Please....use the ignore feature instead of trying to start arguments.

LOL yea you are special aren't you.

I never said you said it was a dumb idea, I made a stand alone statement that it wasn't a dumb idea.

I quoted you and said there was no reason for you to say what i quoted, which was calling him a nimrod and a jackass.

GJ you proved not only that your the nimrod and jackass, but you have no reading comprehension skills either.

Check the cool kid, calling people names, then saying OTHER people are egging it on and starting fights.

    • Tetairoa McMillan.   The last 28 1st overall picks were either a QB, DE, or OT. Seeing as I don't think we'd take an OT in the 1st and give up on Ickey as an LT yet and there doesn't seem to be a clear overall #1 type of QB or DE pick this year, it very well could be a non conventional #1 overall this year, at least in regards from the last almost 3 decades of drafts. If we didn't have Horn, I'd be more open to Hunter as a CB at #1, but we have him so another CB wouldn't be how I'd use a #1 pick.  And as much as I love Legette, if we have SB contending aspirations, I don't think Legette is a #1 on a team like that, but he damn sure is an elite #2 on a team like that.  He's more of the Smith/Higgins/Waddle to Brown/Chase/Hill (in terms of role/impact, not style of play of course). T-Mac is going to be the top ranked WR on every team's board in the end.  He is going to be a true outside #1 WR who is viewed as a consensus Top 5 WR in the game by his second contract in the same way guys like Jefferson and Chase have done.  His height combined with his speed, athleticism, and hands are near impossible to find all in one player, there is a reason his generally used comp is Mike Evans (although as he's not as thick, I personally see him more as an AJ Green). Yes, as an Arizona alum I've admitted to having bias towards the player to begin with.  But he's also someone very widely being put into the Top 5 in mock drafts lately and most of them have him as the first non QB offensive player being taken, so it's not really THAT much of a homer pick on my part anyways. If a QB or DE truly separate themselves as being a can't miss prospect come draft day, I'm open to that discussion, but until then, or if it doesn't happen, T-Mac is my pick 100 times out of 100.
    • Logjam, indeed! Makes me nervous.
