Harris needs to shut the hell up

Before his ass gets cut. The NFL is a business not one big happy f**king family, everyone needs to realize that. He's doing the same poo that fat piece of thug Darnell Dockett is doing on twitter.

You're right, it's NOT one big happy family, where you support everyone like a brother through good times and bad. He has the right to speak his mind if he wants. If the FO doesn't like it, they'll tell him to keep it in house. If they cut him over it, which they won't, they'll come off as petty bitches.

OOOOH WOWWWW he voiced his frustration!!! CALL DA POLICE!

Both of you need to grow a pair.

I'll go read this thread now.

we better not cut him for speeking his mine and what he is saying is true we should have kept hoover he led the way for j stew and d will hes to good to cut and i dont think sherrod is ready to be the starter

"speeking his mine"? Do you not know the real idiom or something?

if he was talking about hoover and called him a dumb honkey no one would be offended

Honkey isn't offensive (at least to me). Either way, any kind of crude and simple insults are... discouraged to say the least. Saying "dumb honkey" would make him look like a complete idiot where what he actually said just made him look like a bigot.

I'm more concerned about what Harris' #1 priority is. The guy has always been a vocal team leader. Now it sounds *pure speculation alert* like he wants to leave, or wants to get his money only then leave. This offseason started to me with what looked to be a little house cleaning, and has quickly expanded into demolishing the house and building a new one. I have very, VERY, reserved optimism for the moves that the FO are making right now.

For the young guys, it's a great way to showcase what they are made of after being blocked by a wall of veteran loyalty, but for the older vets, the classy Panthers organization may not look like the place they want to be any longer.

Mark my words, next season will be decided early. If we struggle, the vocal vets may point to a lack of experience/younger talent, whereas if we taste success early on, well we all know how winning cures problems.

Again, I'm very cautiously, almost worriedly optimistic.

A house divided goes 6-10.

Montsta, if you've seen how involved he is with fans on facebook, twitter, blogs, etc then you'd realize how much Chris loves the area and the team. I think he's just a little miffed that so many people are gone from the team and it may take a little bit for the shock to wear off. Times are changing here and there is going to be a period of adjustment to follow.

You guys would know better than me. I just know he is vocal and a team leader and has his whole boycott losing thing going, and I'm sure I took the tweet out of context. I'm simply saying if I was in his shoes, I might start thinking, maybe I'm next, so I should get my check and get the hell outta here. Again, I'm just speculating and I hope he doesn't feel that way. But ya'll know more than the Cali guy...

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
