What is the total Caps Savings as of right now?

This time next year, you guys will think JR or the new president, whomever is responsible for this purge, is a genius.

This uncapped year lets us get redemption for hanging on to too many folks that should have already been gone, and with no cap issues.

Next season, if there is a new CBA, we will have plenty of cash to resign any of the guys that show heart this season. And they had better show heart because it looks like if we get the new CBA, there will be twice the number of FA's on the market next year at this time. And the Bears and other big spenders will be able to do nothing because they have overspent on a very narrow list of FA this offseason.

No... this time next year, we will all be wondering who the f^^k made DeMaurice Smith the Executive Director of the NFLPA and be wondering if all the current clubs, and the NFL as a whole, is going to make it through a lock-out season.

There obviously were some exceptions to the rules, but there was a clear correlation between how much teams spend and how they finished. The less they spent the lower the finish. Here is 2009:

Last year our actual salary was 10th on the list at 113 million. If we end up 25 million cheaper we will be at around 88 million. Right in the land of Tampa Bay and Kansas City. In fact the only winning teams under 95 million last year were Dallas and Cincinnati.

Yeah lets get excited about getting cheap and not spending. Especially when it isn't our money and what we get is a poorer team but pay the same or higher prices for everything. I am so excited to make Richardson richer!!
