Hoover released...

Cmon now lets get rid of Kasay, Baker, Harris and trade Williams and Smitty ( he may ask for a trade). This team is just getting younger and better by the day. Pretty soon we will have no one over 25 and be the best ever. This addition by substraction is great. Maybe we should just get rid of everyone then we are super bowl bound for sure!!:D

What

the....?????

I've been ok with the moves up to this point, but Fiametta didn't show me ANYTHING that gave me a little bit of confidence. What's going on?

This is a chemistry move. Hoover and Delhomme were very tight and Hoover may not have his head on straight about the change. Wonder if he had some words about it to Marty or Fox, if so, this is a nice little message to anyone else with words.

So when I read this I focused on "may not have his head on straight..." I had visions of Moore taking a snap and Hoooooovvvvveerrrrrr going nuts when he realizes it's not Jake and tackling Moore for a 3 yard loss.

It's amazing to me that there are only three players 30+ on the roster and two of which are kickers/punters.

The NFL is a young man's game.

I loved Hoover as a player. But, he is old and coming off back problems. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions.

The risk in what the Panthers are not doing does not lie with talent. The players behind the guys getting cut are younger and prob more talented.

The risk is with veteran leadership and how this plays out in the locker room.

Though Hoover was valuable, I think he was a good mentor for Fiammatta. Tony F should be ready. No better way to make them ready then to put them on the front line. I think he will be up for the challenge.

Go Panthers

Yea as I recall Fiammetta was high character guy and Carolina was his dream team. He's has the potential to be better than Hoov, let's hope he makes the best of it.
