Cut Kasay, trade Baker, trade Smitty... Entire team = under 30...

Trade DWill, allow Marshall to leave, trade away nex years first rounder...

...get at least 2 first round picks, 3 2nd rounders, 2 thirds, 2 fourths, a 5th, 2 6's, 2' 7ths...

...sign a few scrub FA's to fill the roster...

Win the Super Bowl... burn down the stadium...

Was not expecting this, but you can still see the logic.

What this means is that our premium players are now called on to be the veterans and impart their knowledge onto the others. Frankly that could be a huge boon to players like Beason, as he is within his rights to whip anyone he wants into shape.

Also, Beason, Smith, Harris are our experienced vets. Pretty fiery no?

Don't count Smith as any kind of mentor. He is pretty crappy teammate and role model to follow in the locker room. Hell of a player but more a distraction than leader in the locker room. So that leaves Beason, Harris, and perhaps Gross on offense and Kasay on special teams although I expect him to get the boot as well. With Lloyd gone we need a guy who can kick field goals and kick off. Kasay can only do field goals. I hope I am wrong.

I was going more for the marquee players who are there to push everyone to succeed rather than mentor people. The competitive spirit, I suppose is what I was referring to

225 last season at the start of the season. Interested to see what a year in a pro regimen has done for him.

I doubt he gained 20lbs in one off season, and he don't need to. I like him as a 3rd RB anyway. Hell, we can do without a FB every once in a while because we have three good TE's.
