whats up with the earthquakes

there has been a lot of activity lately.

today, another one struck turkey 6.0 (57+ deaths)

is the seismic activity rapidly increasing or are they just reporting eq's more often?

they happen everyday. When one hits media start reporting all of them. The big ones lately are a bit unusual however. Probably just 2012 stuff a little early. I wouldn't worry.

On average one 8.0 or bigger a year, How many this year already? 2? The world is cracking up and I'm a happy guy!

On the bright side, if earthquakes are happening that lets you know that the Earth's core isn't cooling therefore there's no threat of the carbon cycle stopping or the Earth's magnetic field from disappearing causing us all to get cancer.
