Shaun Rogers to be cut?

I think he'd be a solid pickup, and with the young guys we have at the DT position, we would be pretty set for next year if we picked up a guy who definently needs a change of scenery.

Hell yea he would be a good sign but you the FO won't do it. Plus it sounds like the panthers really want Leonard, Tank, and Irvin to have the 1st shot at starting. Rodgers would be a penciled in starter.

Seeing how we have no NT. It would not be a bad pick up if you get him for cheep. I would not spend too much money on him though.

this. he is 30 years old, but just because they're "going young" doesnt mean they wont sign a veteran or two. I'd be happy if we signed him

He would cost too much for Carolina....plus, adding him to what is arguably the worst DL (currently) in the NFL isn't going to make us set in that regards. And yes, not to go overboard but there isn't a projected DL in the NFL I can easily say Carolina currently looks better than. Carolina is looking long term....and short term is gonna be rough.

I think he would do good for us cuz look how hollis thomas did for us last season and rogers is way better so I'm all for it, maybe a 3 year contract and him and tank tyler can fill up the gap

We actually do have a NT. Leonard may not be real experienced, but that is his position on this team. Rodgers would help us, but he does have some baggage and we don't really know his health status.

Yeah i think he would be a big help to are team. we really need a DT now that we lost are whole d-line.
