I've been told that kimchee is just fermented cabbage. Doesn't sound great, but I'm going to try whatever is in front of me while I'm there. I'm going to try to learn some of the language, but I've heard Korean is particular in pretty miserable to learn.

Anything that's not indo-european is miserable to learn.

Only 3 things I can tell you: they're probably the most passionate and fiery people of East Asia, they have some of the most effiminante men (not gay) in the world, and 80% of the population has the last name of "Kim.". The last fact is a not a joke.

Oh, and they generally despise the Japanese.
