Julius Peppers was selected to the All Decade Team, an honor Mike Minter never received. Julius Peppers went out and commanded the highest paid contract ever given to a non quarterback, Mike Minter never would have had that honor.

Normal fan bases judge whose the better player by talent and skill set. The Carolina Panther fan base judges talent on how much they mean to the organization. Everyone here just loves Kasay, Hoover, Rucker, and Minter because they played either a majority or there whole career as Panthers. Yes they were GREAT Carolina Panthers, but they are not all pro players like Julius Peppers. Julius Peppers is a borderline Hall of Famer, like it or not he is. it's useless with you, peppers is obviously your future baby daddy and you can obsess with him all you want but like I said, you focus on nothing but stats, not actuall games and what he does. You not missing a game since 95 is great, I said I have seen every game since 05 but I have followed along with every game as well as every single move we have ever made as a team since 95 as well and I'm out in Las vegas, and out of all of the players that have walked through the doors I would say that Minter is oun of our greats, I'm not saying he is the best player, but what he did for our team and the community was excellent and far greater then making the fans wonder if he was going to show up and play at every game. Allen plays every play with everything he's got, while Peppers spends his time pretending to try and get into the backfield and wondering how many plays is too much to sit out during a single drive. I'd trade one of our Troubles for Allen, while I would feel like I'm getting robbed trading Goodson for a lazy shitbag like Pep. There are elite defensive ends and then there are elite defensive ends.

He plays with two monster DT in the middle, and if you do not think a DT matters that much for a DE please look at the stats of Andre Carter and Kyle Vanden Bosch when they played and didnt play with Haynesworth. Julius Peppers also had one very offseason for some reason where he only had 2.5 sacks which makes it look worse then it is. Julius Peppers is also superior in coverage and coverage then Jared Allen. Julius Peppers has more forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, tackles, passes denfended, interceptions, blocked kicks, and touchdowns then Jared Allen. Julius Peppers also led the league the past two years in games with sacks.
