Was I the only one impressed with Louis Leonord last season?

So??? that one game he played in against ATL, our run D was amazing until he went down. So am I the only one that thought he showed lots of promise?

I was expecting a big, somewhat lumbering two gap nosetackle, but what I saw was a 320 lb guy with a top notch first step, who got into his man low. He looks like he can shade the center very well, but if we just put him in a gap he'd do well also.

I mean, we have Tyler to blow gaps, as well as Irvin hopefully, but Leonard looks like he can play more than just the one alignment. He can be effective either way.

I'm thinking they are keeping him on the depth chart for sure. We'll see.

I like him though.
