We have a better chance of beating the Vikings than the Cardinals. The Cards would be looking for revenge and everyone would be picking against them yet again and giving them no chance to win the game.

OTOH, WE would be the ones out for revenge against the Vikes. Plus, I think DWill will be out to prove something against Peterson who still keeps getting all of these votes for awards despite his 9 fumbles while DWill gets completely shut out.

id rather see us face a good running team vs. a good passing team....so yea bring on the vikings

Considering that most of the games we lost were to running teams, I am not so sure I agree with that sentiment. In fact, we played four passing teams at home (Denver, Tampa, Arizona, and New Orleans), and won three of them by two or more td's.

I can't decide where we are weaker right now, choose your poison, defend against the run happy or the pass happy. Still thinking i'd rather face Minnesota, just don't see Tavaris Jackson beating us if we hold AP in check.I really believe our loss had a lot to do with us playing at the Metrodome. I'll have to wait and see how Minny looks vs. the iggles to be sure but, I was impressed with how the cards played yesterday.

I can't see T-Jack beating us either... but on the other hand Gus lit us up. I still think the viks are a better matchup for us. here's to hoping smitty does his boat celebration from a few years back. nothing like rubbing salt in an old wound

Hey Dumbass....it is not wanting the easy way out.

The Panthers would beat either the Cardinals or the Vikings. However, the Eagles have a MUCh better shot at knocking off the Giants than the Cardinals.

I want the NFC CG here in Charlotte.

So, my comment to you is.....Not f*ck me....f*ck you.

my sentiment exactly...

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this, but...

One thing to consider is that if we play Minnesota, we'd be playing them on a short week (Sun-Sat), where as Arizona would have a full weeks rest.

Also, Darren Sharper looks like he's in a lot of pain...

This is a very physical game between the Eagles and Vikes..............I'm thinking that if we get the Vikes they would be more beat up and tired than compared to the Cards.......

I think we match up better against the Cards.........but the Vikes might be pooped if they try to play us fresh at BoA stadium.

However, I still think a Philly team even after this rough game with the Vikes gives us the best chance to go in and play NYG for a win to bring the NFCC game here in Charlotte..........

Hard to figure out who to root for this weekend...................I was happy to see Atlanta go but that is about it.......

20-10 at the Metrodome and Deangelo hadn't even warmed up yet.Plus what Pgh said about the physicality of the game going on now and I like the idea playing Minny as far as a better match-up for us.My only desire to see Philly win is to help us have the championship game in Charlotte.Just want mention we are all counting our chickens before they hatch every time we bring up having the championship game at home.

I would have felt more comfortable playing Minny than Zona but in a way I'm glad that Philly won. I believe they have a better chance of beating NY next week allowing us to have the NFC Championship at home. So I guess I'll have the tougher opponent for the sake of NY having a tougher time. But then again all this is moot if we can't take care of business next week.

    • I didn't say much bigger. Watch the highlights I linked. Bryce doesn't have the arm strength and/or talent to make the vast majority of the throws Mac made in that video.
    • Tetairoa McMillan.   The last 28 1st overall picks were either a QB, DE, or OT. Seeing as I don't think we'd take an OT in the 1st and give up on Ickey as an LT yet and there doesn't seem to be a clear overall #1 type of QB or DE pick this year, it very well could be a non conventional #1 overall this year, at least in regards from the last almost 3 decades of drafts. If we didn't have Horn, I'd be more open to Hunter as a CB at #1, but we have him so another CB wouldn't be how I'd use a #1 pick.  And as much as I love Legette, if we have SB contending aspirations, I don't think Legette is a #1 on a team like that, but he damn sure is an elite #2 on a team like that.  He's more of the Smith/Higgins/Waddle to Brown/Chase/Hill (in terms of role/impact, not style of play of course). T-Mac is going to be the top ranked WR on every team's board in the end.  He is going to be a true outside #1 WR who is viewed as a consensus Top 5 WR in the game by his second contract in the same way guys like Jefferson and Chase have done.  His height combined with his speed, athleticism, and hands are near impossible to find all in one player, there is a reason his generally used comp is Mike Evans (although as he's not as thick, I personally see him more as an AJ Green). Yes, as an Arizona alum I've admitted to having bias towards the player to begin with.  But he's also someone very widely being put into the Top 5 in mock drafts lately and most of them have him as the first non QB offensive player being taken, so it's not really THAT much of a homer pick on my part anyways. If a QB or DE truly separate themselves as being a can't miss prospect come draft day, I'm open to that discussion, but until then, or if it doesn't happen, T-Mac is my pick 100 times out of 100.
