With how we cut both Diggs & L.Johnson, I think we should get 'Spoon back. And if he is cheap too. We need at least a vet on the team, since we're releasing too many.

I am really surprised by this move and don't understand it. Will still has good speed and defended the pass very well. Had some issues against the run but he was asked to do a lot with all the injuries the Eagles has a LB. He was always flying to the ball.

I really wanted to see him and Bradley on the field together. Why they released him and not Gaither is beyond me. We gave up WR Brandon Gibson for him who looks to have a promising future with the Rams. What a waste....I just don't get it.

*EDIT* It all makes sense now....Panther get rid of Jake to make room for McNabb, Eagles get rid of Witherspoon to make room for Beason!!!! We also have something like 6 picks in the first 4 rounds so maybe we will throw in one of those also.

This one is a no brainer to me. Spoon is fast, aggressive, he can play all three LBer positions, and he should have a fairly reasonable salary demand. Besides that, he's better than Anderson and Conner.

Witherspoon has connections/strong ties here in the city of Charlotte. I actually work indirectly for him. I strongly suspect he will be back, which is a good thing just because he will add experience and knows our team already.
