Eagles released LB Will Witherspoon

We just dumped a pretty decent older LB to make room for one of our younger players and save some cash.

Why dump all that money into Witherspoon when you can inject some youth and have Anderson or Connor do it for a lot cheaper?

He'd be a waste if he can't play outside, we are stacked at MLB.

'Spoon played outside here beside Morgan. The only question is whether he could handle the strong side. My guess is yes. If he can play middle, you would think he can handle strong.

If we don't draft any starting caliber LBs or sign any then I'll trust the FO that one of them can do it. But really I'd like to get a good SLB. I see anderson as a WLB and connor as more of a MLB.

I can't really think of many big name LBs out there this year in the draft, but I haven't followed college as closely this year... Where is that McClain guy from Alabama projected? I'm guessing first.

top 15 pick, he's an ILB anyway. although I wouldnt mind since im a Bama fan having him and maybe moving beason to OLB again although that wont happen

LB depth is good this year Navorro Bowman, A.J. Edds, and Daryl Washington are all really good picks for SLB. Washington might be gone before our 2nd though.

Rennie Curran and Dakota Watson are good picks for the 3rd/4th.

yea most LBs can play either side i imagine.
