Jake is one of the last of a dying breed, To Jake football is a sport, not a business.

How many times have we seen this man go down hurt and haul his ass back to the line and get us down find so John could win the game with a field goal? Everytime Favre does that he's lauded as a man's man, a working class hero. When Jake does it, it's not accounted for. It was just Jake being Jake.

One thing that I did find interesting was Jake said "He was trying to not make mistakes this past year" and was basically playing out of his element of "slinging it". I really do believe that Arizona game was the FINAL draw for him. No way should he have got that extension...sorta sad that he tried to change his whole philosophy to appease angry Panthers fans.
