Anyone know when the Jake press conference is?

Absolute spectacle. He should have never had agreed to do this. Talk about embarrassing.

Mostly the opposite. Pretty much everyone feels bad/remembers the good things about him after this. Except for a special few that will quote Gatorade/Nike slogans and chuckle.

First we want our athletes to be sincere, and to be honest and to not bullshit.

But then when they are sincere, and truly upset about getting the boot. We tell him to man up and quit being a bitch.

I haven't let the last 2 season ruin my good memories of Jake, and all that he has done for us.

Don't get me wrong, I never wanted to see him start another game.

But give the guy a break, he without doubt gave his heart to this organization and fans.

Always was the first to take blame, and the last to take credit.

emotions are not embarrassing. grow up.

Doing them in public because you're sad that you just found out that you no longer have what it takes IS embarrassing.

Crying is fine, but do it in private with your family. Don't do it on a public stage to try and do what? Make us all feel sorry for him? Please, I'd give my left nut to be in his situation right now.

yes, i'm sure he wanted to cry on television in front of thousands of people. this was his plan all along. next time you're feeling emotional we'll throw you in front of a dozen cameras and see how quickly you pull it together.

He no longer has any obligation to this team. Even if they asked him to do this, he didn't have to do a damn thing they said.

Why? You did read where I said that crying was fine right? Just do it with your family. There's absolutely no need to go bawl on national TV for being fired.
