Cam was right as we all knew.  Difference between a game manager and a game changer there in OT.  Purdy is an elite game manager, but thats what he is, Mahomes is a transcendent gamechanger.

Purdy had a great game.

If you are using Mahomes as a comparison, then every other QB in the NFL is a game manager.

Shanahan should have deferred. We all know he gave Reid the power in OT.

yeah with the way their D was playing you can't give the Chiefs the advantage of being able to go for it on every 4th down and also the pressure on their own D to prevent a TD once the ball is already in FG range. Posted just before OT that the winner of the coin toss should've deferred.

49ers defense continues to hold up in crucial situations.

Bad take lol. They crumbled on the last drive of the game.

You absolutely could not afford to give the ball back to KC without getting a TD if you were San Fran. Best QB in the game drives down the field to win the game. Go figure.

You need help seriously. Blaming that game on Wilks shows your true character.

49ers offense stalled all game and you blame Wilks for that?

Wilks went to his old ways, in fact Shanahan called a timeout to get Wilks to get their D outta cover zero/zone cloud when KC had the ball in OT.

Honestly, Wilks called a phenomenal first half, 2nd half and OT were a disaster though. Not that surprising though after seeing the Packers and Lions light them up and the 49ers barely squeaked by each of them

Dude is only 28 and already has 3 superbowls. He might surpass Brady by a couple on this trajectory.

Team stats when comparing players is extremely overrated. Mahomes passes the eye test of being clearly better than Brady and all of his stats per game are so significantly better than Brady. Brady has longevity and team stats, those are the only things. And Mahomes is coming for both of them...

Wilks called a hell of a game but Reid took him to school on the last drive.

Agree with this, KC was able to stay in the game because of a couple of times Wilks had his D go into zone.

That's why I would want Wilks as a HC and not my DC.

Purdy threw for what? Like 17 yards for nearly half the game when the Niners forgot they could run the ball? They tried to lean on him and in the process they let the Chiefs back in the game.

    • Watching Rams/Eagles. Celebrating the St Louis Rams team that won the SB (Warner, Holt, etc..) while playing in Los Angeles seems wrong.  If I were in Los Angeles, no way I would attend a Rams game.  Probably wouldn't attend a Chargers game either.  Becoming a fan of a team that likes to move around just seems like a waste of energy as a fan.
    • The only responses I am getting after providing statistics to put opinions in perspective seem to be from people who get angry and attack stats and people whose opinions differ from their own.  Have people on the Huddle ever overreacted, exaggerated, been wrong about players before?  Sure they have, so an alternative opinion with statistical support should not cause you to attack me or my views.  I am sorry your public schools failed you.  But your reactions are very revealing--you are stuck in Piaget's concrete operational stage--learn logic, how to debate a topic, and learn the difference between facts and emotional opinions.  When I paralleled Cam's stats with Jones' to point out how remarkably similar their careers have been to this point, It blew some 40 watt minds.  I think Jones, in a better situation, could be good--that should not upset you--
    • penalties and poor hands is what cost us in the RZ Bryce missing "high" in the back of the end zone is not an issue, you're taught as a QB to throw high in the back of end zone were only the receiver can catch or no one The duo of Ian Thomas and Tommy tremble can both go at the end of the season, both been here for multiple seasons and they've barely developed
