Fascinating how @0kBoomer got banned for having a supposedly political username and "pushing an agenda" meanwhile this blatant Ohio State fan troll account who's username is a reference to the most prolific serial rapist in US history and who talks about virtually nothing but Young and Stroud is allowed free reign to poo up the board nonstop. Seems like a bit of a double standard at play to me. 

Note: I don't think either should be banned. Just pointing out the inconsistency.

Stroud walked into a worse situation because the Texans had been a laughingstock and bottom dweller for years, which is why they had the no. 2 pick in the last draft (would have been the no. 1 pick had it not been for Lovie Smith dialing up that late TD). The Texans simply didn't have a winning culture, their receivers were ranked dead last by PFF, and they have a rookie coach and a rookie offensive coordinator. That is about as bad of a situation as you can ask for. We on the other hand had a veteran head coach who is known for developing quarterbacks, a much more experienced supporting staff, and more highly rated receivers per PFF.  

I can't think of a single source, pundit, or fan who thought Stroud was walking into a better situation in Houston. Bryce was universally considered to have landed at a better spot than Stroud. Whereas Stroud overcame and became an agent of change and elevated his team to make the playoffs, Bryce couldn't capitalize on his better situation and the superior pieces he had been surrounded with.

He got banned bc he made us suspicious (and it was obvious what he was doing) and yep, he had 4 known alt accounts all posting. We banned all of them.

This one won’t be long either. It’s pretty easy to figure out the ones who have the multiple accounts on our end.

The weirdest ones are the longer time posters who have multiple accounts they swing between.

Not a single person thinks Bryce was the better pick at this point. People may have thought he was walking into a worse situation, but looking at the season, he had better everything for the 2023-2024 season. No questions CJ performed on an other level than Bryce, but you cannot question that he had better coaching, better offensive game planning, better adjustments, better O line performance, better WR’s, better TE, and a better running game. 
 

I get your point on CJ, but everyone on this board has beat this narrative into the ground and we all agree about CJ vs Young at this point, but you cannot be serious in saying Young was in a bette position after watching last season…..we were literally the worst team in the league for a QB to be in.

If he was truly a prolific alter then I can understand the rationale here but y'all need to communicate this stuff better because in the thread, to those of us not in the know (which is all of us not on the mod team) it looked like blatant moderator overreach. I am glad it was seemingly just a communication issue tho.

He was called “political” and/or “single issue” poster but the better way to put it is the gimmick accounts.

There’s no need with some of that, seems some just want multiple accounts even if they don’t anything ban worthy. I mean a fun alt, whatevs. 

But recently, that Breeg guy and Reccecei are two examples of multi-account types that get into heated pissing matches that just muddy up the joint. And then resurface again. And again. And again. Just like Chuck although I’ll say, the Chuck iterations seem to have finally ended this last year
