Anyone nervous about us possibly playing AZ?

I'd rather play Arizona than Minnesota or Philly. The wind won't be in their sails like it was at home. They got their big home-win in the playoffs. They're done now. I'm just hoping Philly wins today and then again next week. I have dreams of an NFC Championship game in Charlotte!

Everybody keeps talking about what happened in the regular season. That means JACK right now. ATL was MUCH better than AZ in the last month of the season. How much did that mean last night? All that matter is what happens now. I think we will be ready for whichever team we play, but there are are no guarantees. Every team wants to get to Tampa as bad as we do. All that being said I think we might fare better against AZ because they will have to make the cross country trip to play in the cold AND Boldin is banged up.

I'd be nervous if we were playing Independence High..... It doesn't matter who we play, it will always be close and we'll prolly have a chance to win in the 4th qtr.... Warner does scare me a little because of his pin point passing, but not as much as that Iggies defense.... glad they are in the Giants bracket. I do think the Panthers are a different team than the one the Vikings beat early on.... IMHO

Cardinals - they have something to prove this week, and I think they will put together a game reminiscent of their play earlier in the season. Unfortunately, it will only last one week, so depending on the Eagles-Vikings game, either Carolina or NY will get a pretty easy win over the Cardinals next week.

Eagles - they blitz. Jackson can't handle the blitz. Either Peterson breaks through the line for some big gains, or the Vikings get handled fairly easily.

Ravens - they are better than the Dolphins. They beat them easily in Miami in Week 7, and will do so again.

Colts - I expected the Colts hype to end this week, because no one expects it, but the Chargers' Gates is now injured along with Tomlinson not being at 100%. I don't know if they can overcome that.

I should have just stuck with the Chargers, lol. :leaving:

Arizona is a different team at home and away just like we have been this year.

Arizona will lose next week to either the Giants or the Panthers. Minnesota will lose as well. If Philly gets on a roll they could be tough like the Gaints did last year. If they lose to Minnesota then I see a NFCCG at the Giants in 2 weeks.

Of the three possible teams, AZ is the one that can exploit our weakness (secondary) and this time Boldin would be 100%..... We had no business winning that game last time but the heroics of Steve Smith came through, I really don't like this possible match up at all

We beat them before so I would say we can do it again. Our Secondary will pick up because we are getting our DTs back. Oh and dont forget we have Jpep who can basically take over a game if teams chose to pass the whole game. IMO I like our chances.

hammy injuries linger, bolding being slowed or gimpy would make this an easier pick. plus the cards have a putrid record away from the west coast. our running game is much better (iirc otah may have been out when we played zona earlier). its that dline that is actually scarier than most think. if they put forth another great effort like yestarday, that defense is much better than people think, they have enough in the secondary and lb corp to hold teams down.

that said as others said this was there sb imo. if we can jump out early, we might get them remembering the NE and NYJ games and get them mental out of it. they were fired up all game, esp after the int and warner td.

If we don't pressure warner, we lose.

If they don't pressure Warner, they deserve to lose, because the defensive philosophy will be RETARDED.

The "philosophy" matters more in the grand scheme of things than the players.

If they come out just with no pressure, they're out of their minds.
