Anyone nervous about us possibly playing AZ?

Of the three possible teams, AZ is the one that can exploit our weakness (secondary) and this time Boldin would be 100%..... We had no business winning that game last time but the heroics of Steve Smith came through, I really don't like this possible match up at all

Boldin was basically 100% percent last time we played them. He just had facial injuries. This time however, he appeared to pull a hammy in the Falcants game. That would affect him a lot more than a broken cheek bone.

Our secondary is not our biggest defensive weakness. Our run defense is our biggest weakness. Arizona doesn't run the ball much.

Yeah I'm not all that nervous. Fox is insanely good against opponents we play for the second time in a year so either Minnesota or Arizona would've be too worrying from my point of view.

We Carolina needs to do is ensure that they've got ways to pressure Warner and keep the run game chugging. Our defense and running games are better than theirs so realistically it shouldn't be that big of a match up from a danger stand point. I know I'm dismissing a lot of factors here, but I've seen a few Cardinals games this year and they're not THAT impressive.

I think Atlanta is the toughest possible match-up, and with the Arizona win, it just comes down to tomorrows Vikings/Eagles match-up to see if we play the Cardinals or the Vikings. I'd rather play the Vikings since we got robbed of a win last time we played them, but I think we would beat the Cardinals anyways, seeing they are terrible on the cold east coast. And I really think the Cardinals played their super bowl today, I mean they had to be prepared for this, they knew they were hosting a wild-card weekend game for the past what, month?

It was definitely their Super Bowl today. Who the hell would douse the coach with Gatorade after a wild card win?

It's the playoffs its ok to be nervous about the game if we do play them...but if the panthers play at playoff speed then we should win..

I'd rather play the Vikings (I'm a convert on this one), but I think HGG predicted a week ago that the Cardinals would have just enough spunk for one passable playoff effort, and then they'd run out of gas in Round 2 -- I think that's a very likely scenario. Nothing they've shown in the last several weeks suggests that they can put two good games in a row together, although I think the "East Coast Lag" is not going to be much of a factor with this being a night game.

vikings or cardinals i say we got them both. But id like to see Philly/Giants and Panthers/Cards. Then i say we host the NFC title game and beat philly(just like we beat them in 2003) to head to the superbowl.
