I think you are missing the boat on the CBA.

The players are employees, who want to be treated like part of the ownership group. The owner's are the ones who invested their own money....they are the ones that have all of the financial risk....they have all of the downside. The players want to demand a certain percent of all revenue. Name me one other company or industry (other than sports) that has anything like this.

Players making $10+ million is absurd.

I don't think I came across clearly...What I was saying is the Owners opting out of the CBA and all this mess is about the owners wanting to force the players into making less money.

Kemo was overpaid and didn't exactly bring what was advertised when we got him in FA from Baltimore. He wasn't the immovable object and wan't a wall versus the run. With the injury likely to set his ability back further, I think dumping him now was in the best interest of the team for the long-term.
