Peppers is a Bear

It's odd, but I really am indifferent to Peppers being a Bear... I'm indifferent to the Bears in general.

Glad he didn't end up a Falcon, Eagle or Patriot - that would have really ate at me.

Good luck Julius, thanks for the memories.

As someone who lived in chicago for several years, I gotta say it does not seem like a good fit for peppers (the city, not the team). Chicago fans are some of the harshest, quick to judge, what-have-you-done-for-me-lately type fans anywhere.

The local media will eat him alive the second it seems that he's not earning every dollar of his contract.

If anyone could ever light a fire under peppers ass, they would have an absolute beast. However, I think it is Peppers personality and nothing else that limits him. I don't think he is capable of being the player that he could be.

Which, if he doesn't want to achieve that potential, then that's fine. He just doesn't need to get paid like he has reached it, though.

    • Just because we made a bad trade and selected the wrong QB does not mean we should double triple and quadruple down on a QB who is currently for this season 35th in passing yards 36th in touchdowns 39th in yards per attempt 40th in yards per game 39th in completion % and 42nd in passer rating. In this league you need not only a really good QB but it pays dividends to have a good backup plan in place. Why would you or anyone else be against us having a real legitimate insurance policy this go around instead of a washed up Andy Dalton and an afterthought like Jack Plummer? It sounds to me like some of you are only invested in catering to one player because you want to salvage the trade instead of doing what is best for the whole team long term. Bryce Young does not carry that level of sway. That's all there is to it.
    • I honestly do wonder how much of an impact his breakup with his GF had on thing First two weeks like you said he looked depressed. Gets a month to get over it and comes back a completely new person
    • Man whether it's the Panthers or the Hornets it's crazy how many foolish talking heads there are in the local media. I just unsubscribed from locked on Hornets. Doug Branson with his cheesy mustache is an absolute clown especially when his partner isn't on. Talking about trading LaMelo because he can't win basketball games by himself with no semblance whatsoever of a legitimate Center. These YouTube personalities will say anything for a damn click.
