Peppers is a Bear

You realize that he will probably play harder than ever. He's going to sign his final contract, he has no reason to half ass it anymore. No matter the defense it's in his best interest go all out now.

No it's not. I think it's the complete opposite. Like you said, it's his last contract, he's got guaranteed money on it, what does he have to prove. It was obvious he didn't leave to "maximize his potential" when he left a young nucleus here to pair with Urlacher and Briggs in the same system.

He's full of poo. No reason to go hard anymore. He doesn't have to impress hometown fans anymore, he's got his money.

I don't get your logic. He has now ALREADY signed his last big contract. Why would his effort increase now. Typically you would expect his effort higher when he was trying to get that contract.

Because I think he's going to try and save face and not look like the half ass he was in Carolina. Peppers has all the money he will ever need and we already offered him a contract that is similar to the Bears deal. If all he wants is money then I'm wrong, but if he just wanted out then I would expect him to increase his effort for them like a spiteful asshole, god forbid he still makes the HOF.

Man, it seems like you are really reaching far out into left field for that logic.
