No, the fact that we could not stop the run was the main reason we were highly ranked against the pass.

You also have to remember that we have the right to match any offer the Jets make. Unless they are going to overpay him, we are still in the driver's seat.

Meh...he is a good player but its not like he can't be replaced. I'd rather get contracts to Moore and Davis and maybe someone else before Marshall. Although the panther do have the money even though they aren't spending I could go either way on him...certainty wouldn't want him 'overpaid' just yet.

the jets are linked to every FA CB out there right now b/c it is all speculation. no doubt they will try and get someone, Rex is very aggressive. but we'll see what marshall is really worth in the coming days, and i bet he will be suprised.

Hey I would like to keep marshall like everybody else but he's not the whole team and we could live without him if we can get a second round pick for him, if anything we can find another corner in the draft Hurney and the other guys seem to have a knack for that.

I would also rather sign Dunta Robinson to a big contract than Marshall to a big contract.

granted we shouldnt over pay him (classic panther FO move) but finding a #2 is tough in this league and in a passing league we need to keep all we can. Our run d will be highly improved next season wit Kemo back and Lewis will b okay.
