Lito Sheppard and Laveranues Coles released

Bengals terminated contract of WR Laveranues Coles, releasing him to free agency.

Jets have released CB Lito Sheppard and he is now a free agent.

neither is an impact free agent in my book

They did not love him tender -- Colts did not tender former first-round pick Marlin Jackson and he now is free to sign with any team.

Marlin Jackson could be an interesting project. But I don't think if the price is right I wouldn't mind bringing him in. CB isn't a position worth spending big money on this season for us.

if marshall is actually trade bait for a 2nd or whatever then I wouldnt mind picking up Lito Sheppard. he's 28 so he has about 3 good years ahead of him. him and gamble could help captain turn into a great starting corner
