I was taking lessons a few years ago until I got laid off and had to stop - I was about to solo. I am hoping to get back into it this year, it was very challenging and fun. The feeling of getting the landing pattern right and gaining confidence in your abilities in such an odd situation was unmatched.

It's freaking expensive though.
