That NFC championship game was a loooong time ago, but it demonstrates he has/had the capability to get you one game away from the superbowl.

I think we already have a quarterback on the roster who showed us that ability a looong time ago.

You make some good points, but I still don't see Vick coming here. Fox and Hurney have been on the proverbial hot seat for a couple of years. They've certainly mortgaged the future during these last two years -- I'd say they did very well acquiring Stewart and Otah, and the jury's still out on moving down to get Brown.

But in each case, they've acquired players that were in keeping with their philosophy. A scrambling quarterback just doesn't fit into that philosophy, Bolton's character issues aside.

If the front office thought Vick could add to the team last year, they would have brought him in regardless of who was starting at quarterback. Then again, I guess preemptive planning isn't really the front office's thing regarding quarterbacks.

Good insight from the OP. This thread actually has thought put into it unlike those several threads locked up yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised either if V|ck was looked at, but I believe Moore is the best option going forward.

I agree 100%. I never get tired of far jokes, but I have to turn off all avatars and sigs to keep from looking like a perve becuase I view the huddle a lot in class or in the library.
