Of course some team would be willing to give up a 1st round pick for a LBer with a bum knee. That is why the Panthers had to tender him at the 1st/3rd round level.

Make no mistake about it, the Moore and TD tenders are about buying goodwill with both of those players for long-term contract extensions. They know Marshall has been playing hard ass on his contract terms and the Panthers won't pay what he was asking for, so they didn't bother overpaying Marshall this year since he is likely gone once he hits UFA.
