I think the Panthers are trying to prove a point now.. that Marshall is not worth elite CB money. Marshall will be able to negotiate with other teams now, and he will quickly realize that no team is willing to pay him what he thinks he should be paid. Panthers will more than likely match the offer he brings back to them.. and I guarantee it will not be top CB money.

Unless someone offers him stupid money I think we will match whatever is offered to him. Give him good money but nott overspending. He isn't a irreplacable SHUTDOWN Corner. He solid and deserves solid pay.

However, as deep as this draft is we might end up with a better CB in the second round if one of the lower talented teams offer him a deal.

I could go for that.
