Turner, the pro-bowler and 2nd in MVP voting, held to 2.3 yards/carry in the playoffs against arizona's D.

absolutely retarded - i hope vikes go down and we face cardinals and deangelo puts a modest 150 on those jokers just to rub in the leagues face what any football fan already knows is a travesty in not recognizing him.

In fairness to Turner, I don't really think it was on him as much as the Cards defensive line. Millen and Bettis seemed to think that the Cards caught something in the Falcons snap count, and were getting a good jump on virtually every play.

Hopefully, that will not be an issue with us since we have a vet quarterback.

That was fairly obvious. Ryan should have been changing the cadence of the snap count, methinks.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
