Field Goals in Madden 10.

Im not understanding why I can't kick long FGs. I can put max power in it, and still its short. Even with Kasay and Gostkowski. how do you guys do it?

i suck at field goals in madden 10. i pretty much don't go for them unless i'm on the opponent's 20 yard line or closer.

Not really sure what you guys are having issues with I hit 50-55 yarders with regularity on All-Pro and All-Madden. After I get past 55 it gets a little hit or miss though.

Kasey retired in my franchise, free agency in Madden sucks so all I have is a punter doing all the kicking because he's better than anyone else available.

And the guy I drafted was an alcoholic so I had to cut him...

I haven't played since 2005 but when I did I would have to move the arrow all the down to give a very shallow angle. That could get them in but just barely. I would always take the kickers and punters with 99 leg strength in the draft no matter how bad they were. Just do really good on offense and kick plenty of FG, and punts and they'll be fine.

Draft or sign a kicker with 99 kick power and your set. Kasey couldn't hit more than 45 yards because for whatever reason his kick power is low. I have hit 55+ with the kicker I have now. I think the longest I got was a 58 yarder.
