We DID go after Peppers. We offered him a $14M a year contract last week.

Wrapping it up...

Wild night. I actually thought it would be interesting just due to the Peppers drama. Never dreamed it would be as wild as it was. That was probably the craziest free agent night for Panther fans since the year they went after Hartwig and Kemo, only for wholly different reasons.
